Montes – Winemakers Dinner and Tutored Tasting at the Brookfield

Montes  was founded in 1988 by Aurelio Montes and 3 partners, since then Montes has consistently produced some of Chile’s finest wines and has turned itself in to a truly world class winery. It is a fascinating story and in the words of Hugh Johnson “If the Montes story reads like a dream, it is because it started as one and progressively became true”.

Today the worlds most well known wine critic Robert Parker describes Montes as –

“Over recent years, Montes has been one of the standard-bearers of quality wines from Chile under the leadership of Aurelio Montes. The lineup is top-notch from entry level to top-of-the-line.“

We are delighted to announce that Eduardo Stark from Montes winery will present a tutored tasting of 6 Montes wines followed a  three course dinner with different wines on Friday 9^th May as part of our Montes wine feature during the month of May. This should be a fascinating evening with some fabulous wines.

£28 per person including all tasting wines and 3 course dinner with wine.

7.00pm with tasting starting at 7.30pm prompt.

Champagne Gourmet Dinner

A fantastic opportunity to join Raymond Ringeval from Champagne Ayala and taste a range of Champagnes from this high quality producer. Established in 1860 and one of the founders of the ‘Syndicate of the Grande Marques’, today Ayala is owned by Champagne Bollinger and the association is clear.

Begin the evening with a glass of Ayala Brut Majeur served ‘en magnum’ before enjoying a wonderful

four-course Gourmet dinner. Each course will be accompanied by a different Ayala Champagne,

except the main course, which has been paired with a fine Red Burgundy from the Burgundy house of Chanson Pere & Fils.
